iPhone OS 4.0 beta 3 brings iPod widgets on dock

The new iPhone OS 4.0 beta 3 or simply known as iPhone 4 OS now brings iPod widgets on the dock, and it looks very nice at that.

We mentioned a few details about the new Apple iPhone OS 4.0 beta 3 being released, but according to Engagdet it has now been pulled. It got pulled as soon as it went live apparently, but at least we get to see a few features.

iPod controls has now been added to the dock and the screen orientation lock hiding out in the app switcher is now there, all you need to do to access it is by simply swiping to the far left.

Love the picture, as soon as the source above finds out more on this we will let you know as well, we will be covering the iPhone OS 4 as well as soon as it is out of beta stages and officially released. Have fun and let us know more about iPhone OS 4 beta 3 and what it features.

  1. Its back now. MUCH more stable – best beta release by far. Ipod dock icons very good and best is when you press+hold to kill a process all the others now have the little red stop sign – much quicker to close apps.

    Camera works too.

Oh, have a few spare activation slots if anyone wants a play – $5 for admin fee to it.support.staff@gmail.com
