One of the most successful smartphone manufacturers of today has to be HTC, the company has in relatively a short time come from humble beginnings to being one of the top smartphone makers in the mobile space delivering numerous handsets to almost every carrier.

What we have for you today is a brief history of HTC in video which comes courtesy of the guys over at daily mobile and lasts just over two and a half minutes, and shows us how HTC has evolved over the years from 1997 up until the present day.

For HTC’s early pioneering handheld devices to the uptake of the Android operating system to the smartphones currently being made by HTC today such as the HTC Droid Incredible, and the world’s first 4G handset the HTC EVO 4G, which is doing quite well in our popularity poll (here).
