Earlier I posted about the iPhone 4 selling 1.5 million and climbing, you can read that article (here) well now apparently Apple has pushed their official figures for the iPhone 4 and the originally figure of 1.5 million is a tad out.

According to an Andrew Munchbach, article over on the Boy Genius Report, Apple have announced that the official figure is 1.7 million iPhone 4 units sold from launch day of the 24th of June through the 26th of June.

1.7 million is a fairly impressive figure to be touting around, and not many rivals could claim the same but then as Apple has a huge dedicated following these figures are hardly surprising, as no doubt most of that 1.7 million were already iPhone customers.
