Opera Mini 5.1 Released for Windows devices

A couple of months ago Opera pushed out Opera Mini 5.1 for the Android, BlackBerry, Symbian and Java platforms, and now Opera has released Opera Mini 5.1 for Windows based mobile phones.

The ability to set Opera Mini as the default browser, support for predictive input if your handset supports it natively, support for g-sensor screen rotation on Samsung and HTC handsets, improved kinetic scrolling, improved page layout on high-res screens.

Other improvements to Opera Mini 5.1 include, the text input now works on many more handsets, an alternative installer which works on Windows Mobile 2003 PocketPC devices, a bevy of bug fixes in the Opera Mini browser core delivering rendering accuracy and stability.
