  1. It's here! Message on the phone when I picked it up this morning.
The update when fine, and the difference is astounding!
Menu selections are almost instant instead of sluggish.
Better late than never, thanks Samsung and Sprint!

My phone was FRIED by this update. It just updated itself and I've been staring at it for 30 minutes and it won't boot up. Let's see how Sprint plans on fixing this one.

I think Intercept owners will be pleased.

OMG! For the past 7 months I wanted to throw my Intercept into a vat of acid.
Seriously. That's how much I HATED this phone.

The ANNOYING dropped calls, the lag/delay with everything related to this phone, the force close/wait button popping up every single frickin' time I clicked on an app!!!! All the qualities of a crappy phone—this Intercept had!!!

The scary thing is, I have a toddler and when my spouse is working, it's just my loud voice screaming and this cell phone for emergencies. I cannot afford to drop calls or reset my phone when my little boy is in trouble!!

    Then…….
    ….. this morning happened……12/18/10 at 06:46am MST….

    The Froyo 2.2 update!!!!!!

Do you hear the trumpets blaring?! The sun was rising up above the horizon…the eagles were soaring…the mountains stood majestically and sighed.
    Ahhhh….

I am surprisingly pleased ((so far)) with the performance of my phone.
I'm going to test the limits of the Intercept today and see what glitches lie ahead.
But so far, it's been quiet, compliant, and cooperative.
    Like a good phone should….

I promise to post any monkey wrenches as soon as I find it.
    Hopefully I won't find anything!!!

Thank you Samsung and Sprint for teaching me how to be patient.
As Mr. King said, "Better late than never"!!!

    Amen.

OH YEAH!!! "Update Phone" message was on my phone this morning. So I updated and when it rebooted it never turned back on. Took to the Sprint Store and they made me buy insurance to have it replaced. The guy said several people have already came in this morning with the same issue, and we live in a pretty small town. Of COURSE they didnt have any in inventory so they gave me a piece of crap temp phone until my new phone gets in next week. CANT WAIT!!! This phone is the biggest hunk of junk I have ever bought. Every couple weeks out of nowhere the calibration gets broke and for the next 24 to 48 hours I cant even use my phone becuase I can unlock it. Then eventually it resets itself and is fine for a couple more weeks, then happens again. THIS PHONE HAS BEEN JUNK SINCE THE DAY I BOUGHT IT< VERY DISAPPOINTED…..

The upgrad didn't go well for me. My phone doesn't turn on anymore. The samsung logo pops up and stays there. I removed the battery several times wth no luck. Been without a phone for the whole day now. Not happy and don't know how to fix it?

I am not happy with the new updates for the samsung intercept. I no longer have speed dial (I used that feature alot) in fact my whole phone book has changed.
They took out alot of the wallpaper designs and the voice announcement ringtone was taken away. No longer will I have the person's name announce when the phone rings
