Verizon iPhone Caution Consumer Reports: Should You Buy?
Now that the Verizon iPhone is finally going to become a reality one would have thought everyone would be quite happy with the outcome; however apparently people should use caution whn thinking about snapping up the CDMA iPhone.
According to an article over on Slash Gear
, by way of Information Week, the people over at Consumer Reports
are advising caution and to perhaps hold off diving right in and nabbing a Verizon iPhone as they may be stuck with a “short lived” handset.
Apparently the people who still wont recommend the iPhone 4
due to the antenna issues believes the iPhone 4 is beginning to “show its age,” and will soon be replaced by the iPhone 5 later in the year.
Have to say, Consumer Reports does have a point, you have to shell out a wad of cash to get the Verizon iPhone and sign up for a 2 year agreement and Apple will undoubtedly push out the iPhone 5 later this year so maybe it is best to hold off and wait.
What are our readers views on this matter, will you wait for the iPhone 5 or snap up the Verizon iPhone in a couple of weeks?

Android phones are replaced within 3 to 6 months so it you are coming from that camp, this doesn't seem like a big deal, but if you are a current iPhone user, you are used to 1 year cycles and you probably upgrade every 1 to 3 years so this is just a matter of perspective.
