Everyone loves something for free, especially in the mobile space, and apparently if you are a T-Mobile USA customer with a UMA supported smartphone, T-Mobile has now given you a generous gift in the form of free WiFi calling.

According to the guys over at Gigaom, previously all T-Mobile USA WiFi calls were counted toward the users minute plan but as of now all calls made over WiFi will be free.

, previously reported that this may come about, and now the firm that makes UMA based systems, Kinto Wireless has confirmed it in an email letter which reads…

“T-Mobile is excited to expand our Wi-Fi Calling feature, a unique and valuable service T-Mobile has been offering customers for over three years. Starting today, T-Mobile customers can add Free Wi-Fi Calling to their rate plan — at no additional charge — to place calls over Wi-Fi without deducting from their allotment of minutes. This new feature is available at T-Mobile retail stores to all customers on Even More and Even More Plus Postpaid rate plans who have Wi-Fi Calling capable handsets.”

Word is free WiFi calling is available to all Android handsets that come with the preinstalled Smart WiFi app and has been pre-configured by T-Mobile. So there you go you lucky T-Mobile USA Android devotees, free WiFi calling now at your fingertips.
