Toshiba Honeycomb Thrive Tablet Gets Handled On Video

For those of you that aren’t that impressed with the current bout of tablets in the mobile space we have another Android Honeycomb tablet for your consideration below, the Toshiba Thrive, a 10.1-inch device that commands a starting price of $429, and we have a little hands-on video footage for your consideration below.

The guys over at This Is My Next has done an in-depth written hands-on along with this video, so if you prefer to check out that written article then please hit up their website, if however you don’t have the time for that you can simply view the three and a half minute video below.

Of the Android tablet the guys say there are no real surprises with the hardware, but the “rubberish back with diagonal lines” does feel comfortable in the hand and is easier to hold than the Motorola Xoom. However the main difference with the Thrive is it comes with full sized ports, HDMI, USB 2.0, microUSB, 3.5mm jack, and SD card reader.

Overall they say Toshiba Thrive performance is pretty much in line with that of the Motorola Xoom running Android 3.1 Honeycomb, but in the end the Thrive is yet another Honeycomb tablet but with a few extra modifications.

So if you are considering picking up the Toshiba Thrive, maybe a quick look at this hands-on with the Android tablet will help you make up your mind one way or the other…enjoy.
