India Gaining 200 Extra BlackBerry Experience Zones By December’s End

Over in India there are currently roughly 500 BlackBerry Experience Stores in the country, but by the end of December Research In Motion is hoping to expand that 500 by adding another 200 BlackBerry experience zones in India.

According to an article over on My Digital Fc, BlackBerry India senior director of channel sales Sanjay Kaul said whilst in Hyderabad to launch a BlackBerry Experience store… “We will look to add another 200 stores this year.”

Kaul when on to add that BlackBerry experience stores aim to help the user understand BlackBerry tech compares to other smartphones, and that investment in these experience stores are via the national distributor and not Research In Motion.

Although when questions about BlackBerry security concerns in India, Kaul declined to respond. India has been asking RIM to allow the monitoring of BlackBerry data and requires a server in India rather than Canada and states that Research In Motion has complied with other countries regulations and should do the same in India.
