There’s a new credit card reader that’s been launched in the App Store by AppNinjas that has been designed for the Apple iPad and enables merchants to use the Swipe app to process swipe credit cards and the iOS app is called the Swipe Credit Card Terminal.

The Swipe Credit Card Terminal app for the Apple iPad and actually for the iPhone as well enables the user to process payments over their carrier’s network or via WiFi with qualified transactions swiped at the time of sale using a credit card.

For qualified transactions, Swipe’s fees are very competitive: A transaction charge of only 24 cents, plus 1.74 percent of the sale. Qualified transactions are swiped at the time of sale using a credit card such as Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. Swipe has no monthly minimums, set-up or activation fees. A monthly charge of $24.95 includes everything needed to accept credit cards.

Waldron goes on to say, “In addition to costing less than competing mobile payment systems, Swipe is also recognized for customer support. We assign an account rep to each new merchant to answer questions and take them from the sign up through acceptance of the first credit or debit card payment using Swipe.”
