Galaxy S III Possible Details Surface

Although the latest flagship Android smartphone in the Samsung camp is only just hitting the United States, old Sammy isn’t sitting on their tech laurels as Samsung is apparently working on a successor to the Samsung Galaxy S II range, obviously at this point known as the Samsung Galaxy S III, which word has it will arrive sometime next year.

Thus today we are treated to some Samsung Galaxy S III specs according to the guys over at Phandroid by way of a 4Chan user, albeit the info now being removed, and of course are unconfirmed and thus subject to change t any time.

So to kick off here’s what’s being touted Sammy is working on a new display with the moniker Samsung AMOLED III, which is especially under development for the Galaxy S III, with a ppi of 352, there’s also a 4.65-inch screen, a Samsung developed quad core 2.0GHz processor, a 10 megapixel camera with the ability to shoot 1080p video.

The Samsung Galaxy S III will also sport NFC, with a metal and glass body and of course run Android Ice Cream Sandwich along with TouchWiz 5, which apparently is “as intrusive to Android,” and come out to play packing a hefty 2250mAh battery.

Furthermore albeit packing that bigger battery it is said that the Samsung Galaxy S III will still only measure 9mm in thickness, with the reasons for the Android handset not sporting the full TouchWiz experience is so that old Sammy can update handsets faster, now if only they’d ditch Samsung Kies.

Obviously there is no way of confirming such specs as we have no idea where the user gets his info from, and the Phandroid guys do say that these specs tend to go into “la-la land,” and if true there would be no room for improvement in a future Galaxy S smartphones.
