Nokia Lumia 800 the making of video

As you no doubt know, the latest superphone out of the Nokia camp is their first Windows Phone smartphone the Nokia Lumia 800, and what we have for all you Nokia fans out there is a little video for your viewing pleasure below on the birth of the Nokia Lumia 800 Windows Phone.

The Nokia Lumia 800: in-depth 8-minute video documentary comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Slash Gear and by way of Nokia Conversations, which obviously lasts eighth minutes, well almost.

Anyway the footage takes us behind the scenes at Nokia’s London design studio where we see the Nokia Lumia 800kick off firstly in sketches onto a wax model and onto the finished Windows Phone, with input from the VP of industrial design at Nokia Stefan Pannenbecker, the head of Lumia UX design Chris Linnett and the creative designer for Lumia UX Kate Freebairn.

In the footage, Linnett teased that Nokia has only just begun to witness what the results of their collaboration with Microsoft can produce, intimating that there will be more Nokia Windows Phone devices to come.

As for the Nokia Lumia 800 I’m sure you already know the Windows Phone is constructed from a single piece of polycarbonate plastic that Nokia sends through a CNC machine to chop out the required perforations and spaces.

Anyway, enough said by me, all you need to do now is head on down and mash that play button to find out what the Nokia execs have to say about the Nokia Lumia 800, and no doubt you will hear nothing bad…enjoy.
