New Xvision an4 Android ICS 4.0 tablet specs

There’s a new Android Ice Cream Sandwich tablet been announced, albeit for the Japanese market from WSL Japan, who are quite well known in Asia but not so much in the good ole US of A and thus its doubtful whether this new Android 4.0 slate will become a hit stateside, but we do have some specs for the interested.

According to an article over on Androinica the new Android Ice Cream Sandwich tablet for Japan is called the Xvision an4, and features a 9.7-inch 1024 x 768 pixels resolution touch screen with 4:3 aspect ratio and according to the guys the slate is intended to be an Apple iPad copycat.

Other specification on the Xvision an4 include a 1GHz Amlogic 8726-M3 processor, Bluetooth, WiFi, optional 3G and GPS, 16GB internal storage, 1GB DDR3 RAM, and a 0.3 megapixel front facing camera.

Hardly overly impressive in the spec stakes other than running ICS and that the Android tablet in on the slim side coming in a just 10mm thick although the weight of the device is not known at this moment, but the device is decent enough for the middle end of the market.

As for when anyone will be able to pick up the Xvision an4 in Japan word is the Android tablet will release sometime in April, but just how much the slate will actually cost is currently unavailable, but more info should become available in the coming weeks.
