Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi gains CM9 pre-alpha

For those that own the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1WiFi Android slate and don’t mind tinkering with their tablet apparently Steve Klondik used his Google Plus account this weekend to announce that the pre-alpha version of CM9 is now available for the above mentioned Android tablet.

According to the guys over at Droid-life to find out what CM9 has to offer you’ll need to flash a recovery.img in fastboot, and then the CM9.zip through there.

However it is stipulated that this is a pre-alpha and thus not the final product, and it will still be some time before we see the full CM9 on many devices due to the team working to deliver the overall experience “highly tweakable” along with a more polished out of the box experience.

Apparently according to Steve Klondik the camera isn’t working but everything else is although there is no support for pre-alpha builds.

And that’s about it, so if you fancy giving the CM9 pre-alpha for the WiFi only Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 you can pick up all the necessary by hitting up (Here), and feel free to let us know how it all goes by dropping us a line to our comments area below.
