Sony V150 tablet puckers up ICS 4.0 & Tegra 3

As you no doubt know there hasn’t been many tablets arrive from the Sony camp just yet, thus far Sony has delivered two Android slates in the form of the Sony tablet S and Sony tablet P; however the word is Sony is working on a next generation Android slate called the Sony V150 tablet.

According to the guys over at Netbook News, the Sony V150 Android tablet has been caught running benchmarks and was apparently only tested the once and came up with a total score of 59.70.

Apparently the Sony V150 slate sports an NVIDIA quad core 1.4GHz Tegra 3 processor, whilst having the same 1280 x 752 pixel display resolution as the Sony tablet S, and will run the Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

However, other than that there’s no other information available on this new Android slate from Sony, but it does at least show that Sony is most definitely testing out new tablets, but obviously there’s no idea whether the benchmarked reference device sports the same specs as the final product, so as and when we hear more on the Sony V150 we will of course pass it along.
