So if you are over the pond in the USA and have been waiting patiently for T-Mobile USA to release the latest smartphone from the HTC camp, the HTC One S, it appears that T-Mobile USA customer don’t have that much longer to wait, as word is T-Mobile and HTC are to launch the ICS HTC One S on the 18th of this month at and event in New York City.

According to the guys over on PC Mag

, invitations have been sent out to reporters so they can be on hand for the launch of the HTC One S on T-mobile USA during the event in New York City at 7PM on Wednesday the 18th of April.

According to the guys, the T-Mobile HTC One S is close to the international version of the Android Ice Cream Sandwich handset, but will have different pre-loaded applications and of course be compatible with T-Mobile bands.

Spec wise the T-Mobile USA version of the HTC One S will be the same as the international version so customers can expect, a 4.3-inch qHD AMOLED touch screen along with an 8 megapixel rear facing auto-focus camera with LED flash, VGA front facing camera, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, Android 4.0 OS and HTC Sense 4.0, and a 1.5GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor.

Earlier rumour had it that the HTC One S would release on T-Mobile as of the 25th of April

, however it now appears that potential customers will now be able to snap up the ICS handset a little earlier, will you be grabbing the HTC One S from T-Mobile?
