7-inch Android ICS 4.0 Sub-$150 Xtex My Tablet

If you happen to be in the market for a 7-inch Android tablet but don’t really want to shell out a vast bundle of cash, you might like to consider the My Tablet from Xtex, as this little slate comes running Android Ice Cream Sandwich, and will only set you back a very reasonable 150-bucks.

According to the guys over at Engadget, the My Tablet sports a 7-inch capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 800 x 400, 1GB RAM, 16GB HDD storage, a 2 megapixel front facing webcam, WiFi connectivity, 1.5 GHz processor, HDMI out, standard USB port, miniUSB port, headset port, and TF expansion port for up to 48GB, and of course that Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS.

The guys said that the My Tablet looks a tad like a re-badged Zync Z990, which is sold in India, however the company contacted them and says that although the My Tablet does have the same outer shell as the Zync Z990 slate, which was chosen to keep the pricing down, all other parts are totally different to the Zync Z990.

The My Tablet Android 4.0 slate measures 7.5 x 4.5 x 0.40 inches and weighs in at 10.75 ounces, and comes rooted out of the box, with a 3200mAh battery said to deliver up to 5 to 6 hours of use, and is available in three colours, white, black and pink.

Thus for those that would like to grab an Android Ice Cream Sandwich tablet at roughly 50-bucks less thatn the popular Amazon Kindle Fire, you can purchase the My Tablet for $149.99 from the Xtex website, does the My Tablet capture your interest?

Xtex My Tablet are crooks – they tool my money 3 weeks ago and promised to ship 2 weeks ago. They never did ship and stopped communicating with me last week. They will not even acknowledge my emails or  direct forms on their website that i have filled out. I will be complaining to the Attorney general of my state and the SEC to get them, stopped, fined or prosecuted.

I ordered mine on 4/17/2012.  3 days after they came out.  Twice they told me in email that they would ship within 48 hours and they lied both times.  They don’t have these made or on hand to sell.  They are stalling and not shipping to customers.  Shady behavior, poor customer service or none at all. The 3 reviews on their site are fake as no one has received their tablet at all.  They are not allowing poor ratings post.
