RedSn0w jailbreak 0.9.10.b8b update more compatible

The iPhone Dev Team, not too long ago released unto the iPhone unfaithful RedSn0w 0.9.10b8, which delivered the ability for users to be able to back up their activation tickets, and now the iPhoone Dev Team has released another update to the jailbreak, RedSn0w 0.9.10.b8b.

According to the guys over at iDownload Blog, although the RedSn0w 0.9.10.b8b update brings only a few minor bug fixes, the update according to the iPhone Dev Team does bring more compatibility.

According to the iPhone Dev Team, ‘the RedSn0w 0.9.10.b8b update makes the zip files more compatible with the native Windows explorer (which doesn’t like leading slashes in the file names.)’

For those iOS faithful out there that have already jailbroken their iPhone and wish to make use of theReSn0w 0.9.10.b8b update, the RedSn0w 0.9.10.b8b update for OS X can be downloaded by hitting up (here) or for the Windows version you can hit up (here).

Currently one must remember that only A4 and A5 devices with iOS 5.0.1 are below can be jailbroken, A4 devices on iOS 5.1 are, however it is still a tethered jailbreak, although the guys are still continuing to work hard to get a jailbreak for iOS 5.1 out there, but just when that will happen is still somewhat unclear.
