New iPhone Accessories: Audi Q7 & R8 RC Cars

Here at Phones review we enjoy bringing you news on mobile gadgets and accessories as well as smartphones and tablets and we have something today to keep plenty of people amused. They are iPhone-controlled cars, one an Audi Q7 and the other the Audi R8 and they bring a whole new dimension to remote controlled fun.

These replica cars can be controlled using your iOS device, iPhone, iPad or iPod, one of course offering an SUV driving experience while the other is more for those who want the optimum luxury drive. You can choose to set up obstacles to test out your driving skills or simply watch it whizzing down the pavement.

Both of these are available from iHelicopters, the iPhone Controlled Audi Q7 RC Car from this link or the iPhone Controlled Audi R8 RC Car from here. Both are priced at $59.95 and you’ll also need to download the controller app from the App Store here. Once you have our RC car and have downloaded the app you simply need to plug the transmitter into your headphone jack, pop some batteries into the car and you’re away! As the controller app gives a choice of three frequency bands it’s possible to race up to 3 cars against each other and with a control range of up to 20 meters this could mean hours of fun.

Dimensions of the Audi Q7 are 25cm x 10cm x 9cm with a scale of 1:20 and it requires four 1.5V AA batteries (not included). It comes in silver or black color options and movements are left/right rotation and forwards/backwards. The transmitter charge time is 60 minutes and playing time for the transmitter is also 60 minutes and for the car up to 60 minutes. The package also includes a USB charging cable.

For the Audi R8 the dimensions are 18cm x 8.5cm x 5.5cm with a scale of 1:24 and this one requires three 1.5V AA batteries (not included). It comes in white or yellow color options and other details are the same as for the Audi Q7 above.
