If you are over in the good old US of A and in the market for an Apple iPad 2, obviously you’d like to be able to purchase the iOS tablet for as cheap as possible, and apparently the word is that up until July the 19th, if you are after an iPad 2 then Fry’s Electronics is the place to hit up.

According to the guys over at iDownload Blog, the guys over at 9to5Toys, who are well known for picking up on good deals, were the first to spot the Fry’s Electronics Apple iPad 2 deal, which is currently being offered for 299-bucks for the 16GB WiFi iPad 2.

That pricing is a cool 100-bucks cheaper than purchasing the iOS slate from Apple, or any other US retailer, and apparently the 9to5Toys guys say that this is the best deal on the Apple iPad 2 they have ever seen.

The word is though that this low price iPad 2 deal is only available to in store pick up, so you can’t put in an online order. Still if you are in the market for an iPad 2 it would probably pay to pop along to your local Fry’s store and check it out.

However, there does seem to be a bit of confusion with the Fry’s price for the second generation iPad, in as much as some are seeing that $299 price tag, whilst for others it shows a price tag of $399, which happens to be the price we see.
