Motorola Droid Razr HD surfaces, carrier mystery

Well what do we have here, why it appears to be the Motorola Droid RAZR HD. There has in the past been a little mystery about which carrier in the Good old US of A just might get the Android Ice Cream Sandwich handset , but that little mystery seems to have been cleared up with these latest images.

The image above shows the device with the name below the 4G LTE logo being blacked out, but it isn’t really a mystery when you consider, as the guys over at Droid-life point out, the system version (image below) actually mentions Verizon, so all in all it’s probably a safe bet that the Motorola Droid RAZR HD is headed to the Big Red network.

Obviously the specifications of the Motorola Droid RAZR HD haven’t been confirmed yet, but word has it the smartphone is expected to come out to play sporting a 4.5-inch 720p HD touch screen along with a 13 megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash, and a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor , and possibly NFC.

The Motorola Droid RAZR HD is of course 4G LTE compatible, has the codename Vanquish, runs Android Ice Cream Sandwich version 4.0.4, and apparently on-screen buttons are present.

When it comes to the battery on the handset, the Android smartphone, according to the guys has a good chance of packing a 2500mAh battery, and judging by the image it looks like Motorola have managed to keep the Droid RAZR HD a fairly slim handset.

Naturally there is no hard and fast word on just when the Motorola Droid RAZR HD is coming out to play, but as the device is with the FCC it shouldn’t bee too long before it hits the mobile space.

DON’T BUY THIS PHONE OR ANY MOTOROLA PRODUCT.  CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTANT AND THE PHONE ONLY LASTED 2 WEEKS BEFOR IT STOPPED FUNCTION.  SENT IT BACK AND CAME BACK WORSE THEN WHEN I SENT IT IN. NOW THE PHONE HEATS UP TO 108 DEGREES WHEN CHARGING AND SHUTS OFF RANDOMLY!  The phone was brand new, and now they want to send me a “refirbished phone”  OH GOOD, NOW I GET SOMEONE ELSE’S BROKEN PHONE.  I’m cancelling my contract with verizon….gladly taking the hit for the cost of a new contract with ATT.  I’m getting an IPHONE which everyone else in my house has!
