There is now a whole host of Nokia Lumia handsets available to consumers with more due to arrive shortly, but today we are comparing the specs in a Nokia Lumia 625 vs. Nokia Lumia 525 Windows Phone battle.

The Nokia Lumia 525 is the more recent addition of the Lumia family while the 625 became available last summer.

Display
The Nokia Lumia 525 has a 4-inch display at a resolution of 480 x 800 which provides a pixel density of 233ppi, while the 625 has a 4.7-inch display at the same resolution at 199ppi.

Processor
Under the hood of the Nokia Lumia 625 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, which compares to the 525 that has a Snapdragon S4 dual core processor running at 1GHz

Ram & Storage
The Lumia 525 has 1GB of RAM with 8GB of built in storage expandable up to 64GB via microSD card, while the other handset has 512MB of RAM with the same storage options.

Cameras
On the rear of the Lumia 625 we have a 5MP camera capable of 1080p video capture and paired with a VGA front shooter, while the 525 only has a 5MP rear facer capable of 720p video capture.

Operating System
Both handsets are currently running the Windows Phone 8 OS and will be updated to 8.1 once it is released.

Battery & Measurements
The Nokia Lumia 525 has 1,430 mAh battery while measuring 119.9mm x 64mm x 9.9 mm weighing 124 grams, which compares to the 625 that has a 2,000 mAh unit at 133.3mm x 72.3mm x 9.2 mm and 159 grams.
