HTC One M8 on AT&T receiving Android 4.4.3 update

It’s always interesting to be able to give readers details of operating system updates for smartphones and tablets and today we have news for some HTC One M8 owners. The HTC One M8 on AT&T is now receiving the Android 4.4.3 update.

At the end of July we told how this update was starting to roll out for the One M8 in Europe, and it has also already arrived for US T-Mobile and Sprint customers with the phone. Now AT&T customers are also being treated to Android 4.4.3 for the One M8.

The update should already be available to download, as tweeted by HTC Product Manager Leigh Momii. It offers various system improvements, security fixes and performance optimizations. As well as this there are app updates for Camera, Gallery, Settings (Power History), and HTC Sync Manager.

Other new features include optimization for various HTC Sense 6 features Boomsound, Extreme Power Saving mode, Motion Launch, and Quick Setting. If you want to manually check for the update you can head to Settings on your device followed by AT&T Software Update followed by Check for Updates.

It would be good to hear from owners of the AT&T HTC One regarding this Android 4.4.3 KitKat update. Have you already received the update for your phone? If so, why not tell us what you think of the new features and improvements by letting us have your comments.
