There are a lot of devices in Micromax’s Canvas series, and another one has just been added to the list. It’s not a flagship handset, but the Micromax Canvas 4 Plus price makes you take notice as it’s listed at Rs. 16,750.

The Micromax Canvas 4 Plus is a smartphone aimed at folks on a budget. That said, the Canvas Plus 4 specs show a device that’s a bit above average as you’ll get the standard 1GB of RAM, but with a 1.7GHz octa-core processor and 700MHz Mali 450 GPU. The internal storage is listed as 16GB, and it can be expanded up to 32GB with a microSD slot.

As for the display, you’re looking at a 5-inch 720p AMOLED screen. The cameras are pretty nice as well with a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing snapper. Connectivity options for the Micromax Canvas 4 Plus include 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Dual SIM functionality. The Plus 4 will run Android 4.4, and it’s powered by a 2,000mAh battery.

The Micromax Canvas 4 Plus price is Rs. 16,750 at infibeam, and it’s expected to arrive at other online retailers in the coming weeks. You’ll be able to get one in a Gold/White combo or in Black if you’re interesting in picking one up.
