The Lenovo A806 Golden Warrior specs are as impressive as its $179 price

#

Octa-Core chips are starting to appear in more handsets, but a lot of them still reside in China. One has made an escape from its homeland, and is now available to purchase internationally through an online retailer. It’s called the Lenovo A806 Golden Warrior, and it’s a heck of a deal for an unlocked device.

The E-tailer 1949deal, has listed the Lenovo A806 Golden Warrior on their site for the rock bottom price of $179.99. If you’re thinking that sounds a little expensive for a mid-range handset from China, you thought wrong as the Golden Warrior is outfitted to play with the big boys.

The Lenovo A806 Golden Warrior specs show a 5-inch handset with a 720p display. It’s not full HD, but it’s also not an issue when you factor in the 1.7GHz Octa-Core chip, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage space. When you factor in the large 2,500mAh battery, you’ll appreciate the display as the battery life should be great on the Golden Warrior.

As great as the Golden Warrior is under the hood, the cameras are just as snazzy. You’ll find a 13MP camera on its backside to go with a 5MP sensor on the front. The Lenovo A806 Golden Warrior will run Android KitKat 4.4, and the connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi direct. It has all the usual bells and whistles, and considering the specs, it “should” receive Android 5.0 sometime down the road.

The Lenovo A806 Golden Warrior is currently up for grabs at the link below, and it looks to be a steal if you’re wanting a full-fledged smartphone that doesn’t break the bank. You can find similar prices on eBay and a few other retailers, just look before leap if you’re dealing with a new seller or site.
