The Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30 price and availability announced

#

There are no shortage of smartphone set to arrive this year, but we haven’t spent much time talking about tablets. Lenovo has always impressed us with their slates, and they’ve just launched a new one in India with the budget friendly Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30.

Today, Lenovo brought two new tablets to India, and they fall on different ends of the pricing spectrum. We’ve already talked about the high-powered Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro, and the Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30 is a tablet geared towards folks on a budget. We briefly touched on it last month when it appeared alongside the Lenovo A7-10, and now we’re going to go over its specs.

The Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30 will sport a 7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1,024 x 600. Under the slab of glass beats a quad-core MediaTek chip clocked at 1.3GHz and backed by 1GB of RAM. Other features include 16GB of expandable storage, a 2MP/0.3MP camera combo, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and GPS. The slate gets its power from a 3,450mAh battery, and will run Android 4.4 out of the box.

The Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30 may not have the coolest name, but it does have a nice price as the Wi-Fi variant is listed at Rs. 8,500 while the 3G model comes in at Rs. 11,800. It can’t hold a candle to the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro, but it costs a fraction of the price.

What do you think about the Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30 price compared to its specs?
