Honor Band Z1 now available in India for Rs. 5,499

It’s safe to say the Huawei Watch is a classy wearable but it’s far from cheap, even with all the Black Friday 2015 sales. The Honor Band Z1 is a different type of smartwatch from the company, and it has just been launched for consumers in India.

The Honor Band Z1 was announced for India last month, and today the device has officially gone on sale through an exclusive deal with Flipkart. As you might suspect, it doesn’t run Android Wear and it isn’t going to have the usual smartwatch specs we’re used to seeing. It’s more of a fitness tracker than an actual smartwatch, but the price makes it worth a look.

Battery usage is a big deal when it comes to wearables, and you’ll be pleased to know the Honor Band Z1 is said to provide around four days of juice with regular usage or fourteen on standby. As for the specs, the device has a 1.06-inch circular OLED display with a resolution of 128 x 128. It can withstand water and dust to a degree like most of its counterparts, and gets its horsepower from a Cortex-M4 STM32F411 processor. You’ll get MyFitnessPal integration as well, and it can keep you notified of any calls, texts or messages coming in from your smartphone.

The Honor Band Z1 will worth with both Android and iOS devices, but you’ll have to go through Flipkart if you’re looking to pick one up in the region. The Honor Band Z1 price for India is listed at Rs. 5,499 and it is available two different colors (bands) with White and Cream.
