The launch of the LG Style Icon competition has been officially announced by LG, the LG Style Icon competition is a UK wide search for the stars of a forthcoming LG advertising campaign. The LG Style Icon competition is a 3 month tour of regions within the UK and Ireland to locate people that may feature in their very own billboard advertisement for LG
Entrants into the LG Style Icon competition are to be photographed at each location and then each casting shot will be displayed on LG’s micro-site which is www.LGstyleicon.com. Then a public vote is held to decide the top five entrants from each UK region, and once this is complete, an LG panel will select one winner per location to appear on an LG billboard advertisement in the winner’s home town.
Those who wish to enter but can’t make it to the LG road show personally will still be able to enter the LG Style Icon competition simple by visiting and uploading their own photo to www.LGstyleicon.com. Of the ten regional winners the panel will pick one female and one male to star in the campaign, and the two overall prize winners will be announced at a special LG event in September.
The LG Style Icon competition road show is to visit these locations over the next three months: June 7-8 Reading, June 14-15 Bluewater Kent, June 21-22 Glasgow, June 28-29 Belfast, July 12-13 Solihull, July 19-20 Sheffield, July 26-27 Edinburgh, Aug 2-3 Manchester, Aug 9-10 Cardiff, Aug 16-17 Dublin.
