So you want a Palm Pre? How about getting one without needing that mail in rebate? If you walk into a Sprint store on June the 6th you can pick up a Palm Pre for $299 up front and then have to go the $100 mail in rebate route.

However, according to an article on Yahoo finance, Best Buy is going to offer the Palm Pre for $199.99 outright thus taking away the need for rebate hassle.

So although Best Buy doesn’t hold exclusivity on the Palm Pre I know which route I’d be taking come Palm Pre purchasing time, don’t you?
