Galaxy Spica i5700 Officially Unveiled by Samsung

Well we knew the Samsung Galaxy Spica was coming and now Samsung has gone all official and unveiled the Android packing Samsung Galaxy Spica (i5700) smartphone, which is basically a take on the Samsung Galaxy, reports an article over on newswire.

The Samsung Galaxy Spica sports an 800 MHz app processor for delivering a wide range of applications that can be gained from the Android Market, and the Samsung Galaxy Spice offers seamless connectivity with Google mobile services and social networking sites such as FaceBook, and MySpace excreta.

A first for Android devices, the Samsung Galaxy Spica sports support for DivX while other features include DNSe 2.0, Google Maps, Google Search, Google Talk, GMail, and YouTube, a 1500mAh battery, a 3.5mm headphone jack and is only 13.2mm thick.

The Samsung Galaxy Spica is available as of now in Europe, CIS and is to be expanded to the MEA region. Executive VP and head of Samsung Mobile Communications Division, JK Shin has said that the Samsung Galaxy Spica is the perfect fit for users who want a powerful and fast mobile experience.
