Dell offer Motorola Droid for only $119

It’s not all that long since the Motorola Droid smartphone hit the streets, and one wouldn’t normally expect the smartphones price to drop just weeks after its release but that is exactly what has happened when you get the Motorola Droid smartphone from Dell.

According to an article over on intomobile, Dell is now offering the Motorola Droid for only $119.99 along with a two year agreement with Verizon, and apparently also applies to contract extensions, so no waiting for eligibility of an upgrade.

Spec reminder for you, the Motorola Droid is of course Android 2.0, GSM/850/900/1800/1900, HSDPA/900/2100, 3.7 inch touch screen, full QWERTY keyboard, 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and dual-LED flash, Bluetooth, GPS, microSD expansion, and I’m sure you know the rest.

So if you are on the lookout for a cheaper Motorola Droid smartphone then it does appear that Dell is going to be the one to go with, and they ship the smartphone for free via Fedex.

I just spoke with dell to purchase this $119.00 motorola droid deal..The problem i have is I want to keep my existing verison data plan and just reup my 2yr aggreement…but this offer is only valid if I take a new contract that is offered ..the current plan I have is no longer offered.. so from what the sales person told me the only way to get this price is to change the plan I want to keep to a new plan..??
