Has Motorola Droid Camera Received a Silent Update?
There seems to be some kind of problem with the Motorola Droid camera, to be precise the camera focus and that basically the Motorola Droid camera just simple can’t focus. However according to an article over on the BGR, it appears that the Motorola Droid camera focus is not working fine.
Apparently several reports at first suggested that wiping off the camera lens antiglare coating had solved the focusing issue, but the more favourable reports have it that someone has actually sneaked out a silent update for the Motorola Droid before the over-the-air update which is due on the 11th of December.
The guys say though that they a silent update is a tad odd and could have gone either way and that they are not really convinced the update has improved the camera as they didn’t have a focusing issue but rather when the boxes turned green to signify a “lock” their images still came out blurry.

I woke up today after reading some initial reports that the Droid camera received an over the air update to resolve the camera’s issues. I immediately grabbed my phone and started shooting pictures of everything I could, including vast landscapes. I found that the picture quality turned out better, with less blur and glare off the lense. Your mileage may vary, and I also have yet to look at the photo’s side by side on a computer monitor to compare old vs new.
WELL I HAVE HAD T RETURN 2 DROID PHONES, THE FIRST ONE I RETURNED WAS THE INTERNET AND YOUTUBE WAS SUPER SLOW AND RARLEY WOULD LOAD WEB PAGES. THE SECOND PHONE I RETURNED THE LETTER “H” ON THE SLIDE OUT KEY PAD WAS HARDER TO PUSH IN THEN THE OTHER LETTERS LLIKE IT WAS STUCK, OTHER THEN THAT THE CAMRA ON MINE SEEMS TO WORK FINE. THE PHONE IS SUPER KICK ASS THOUGH
My camera is still awful. Absolutely awful. I am going to keep searching. The phone is amazing, I am stunned that the camera is so terrible.
Just tested and it is 100% different. Mine would zoom in and out about 10 times then take a junkie picture. Now everyone is clear and the focus adjusts once and done.
A silent update or not a phone that fixes itself!
