Vodafone UK said they were the best network for the iPhone and now apparently the figures prove it as according to Speed Check data Vodafone comes top at downloading data reports an article over on pocket-lint.

Vodafone UK is followed in second place by O2 with Orange coming in third place. Speed Check also tracked numerous speed checks by iPhoners on the 3 network which were presumably using jailbroken iPhones.

What’s more is that if you include the 3 data they beat O2 and Orange although officially 3 doesn’t stock the iPhone.

Speed Check for the iPhone is a free application that enables the user to check the download rate and upload rate.
