We reported on the new handset from Motorola which was announced at Mobile World Congress, the Motorola Cliq XT for the US or Motorola Quench for Europe, you can read the article (here). Well the guys over at engadget have managed to get a little playtime with the Motorola Cliq XT and done a hands-on.

The guys say that the Motorola Cliq XT is a fairly slick Android smartphone with a pretty responsive touch screen, although it does lack the originals physical keyboard.

The Motorola Cliq XT now features Swype input on its virtual keyboard and they found that with a little patience and practice Swype can be fairly fast to use.
