A few days back we reported that Apple UK had briefly posted that the latest version of the iPhone operating system, iOS 4.1 would release on the 8th of September, you can check out that article by hitting up (here)

Well its Wednesday the 8th of September here in the UK and at 1:22pm there haven’t been any signs of the new operating system being released as yet.

Historically though Apple has pushed out operating system update roughly about 10:00 and 10:30am Pacific Time, which over here in the UK would be about 6:00 to 6:30 pm, so maybe I’m being a tad premature.

However there is of course a possibility that the UK won’t see the release of iOS 4.1 today as the Apple UK website change the release date from the 8th of September to just “coming soon.” So do you think the UK will see iOS 4.1 today?
