Sam’s Club already has an application for the Apple iPhone, but in the run up to the festive season they want to expand to other mobile platforms and thus Sam’s Club has now launched mobile phone apps for both the Android and BlackBerry platforms.

According to an article over on Intomobile by Dusan Belic, Sam’s Club has launched am optimised for mobile website to go along with the newly released mobile applications.

With the Sam’s Club mobile apps users can access the latest into of local club events, company announcements, and membership renewal status, gain access to eValues which are auto-loaded onto membership cards and members will be alerted to new offers and when eValues nears expiration.

Other features include using GPS to locate your nearest Sam’s Club along with gaining info on each club, an interior club map feature showing the layout of individual departments, finding the right product by browsing the catalogue by category or by product name and check product reviews.

And now you can also make a products list and share that Sam’s Club product list with friends on Facebook and Twitter. To grab you Sam’s Club app you can do so by hitting up the App Store for the iPhone, the Android Market for Android devices and BlackBerry App World for BlackBerry handsets.
