A new tablet called The One from Woow Digital is expected to release over in Japan sometime before Christmas. Now you may not have heard of Woow Digital or even The One before,, but this tablet will arrive packing the latest operating system from Google, Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

According to an article over on Ubergizmo and by way Engadget, The One tablet will not only be packing Android 2.3 Gingerbread but also an NVIDIA Tegra 2 core, and will command a price tag of ¥42,000 which is roughly $504.

Other known specs of The One tablet are a 10 inch 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1GB of RAM, 16GB storage, WCDMA 3G radios, WiFi and Bluetooth along with that Tegra 2 and Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.

Once The One tablet is released in Japan the tablet will also see release in Hong Kong, andthen followed by Taiwan and Europe although those dates are thus far unknown. So it would appear there will be a new Android tab being added to the mix sometime in 2011.
