For all you iPhone faithful out there that jailbreak your iOS device and have been awaiting the release of the new Greenpois0n untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1, you long wait is finally over, as the Chronic Dev team have now released the latest version of Greenpois0n.

According to an article over on Engadget by Sam Sheffer, @p0sixninja announced the availability of the new Greenpois0n untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1 via his Twitter account and tweeted…“Go get it. www.greenpois0n.com.”

Apparently though the Greenpois0n jailbreak has only been released for Mac as the Chronic Dev Team announced via Twitter…“again, there is no windows / linux release at this time. it is Mac only for the time being.”

For any of our readers that want to try out the Greenpois0n untethered jailbreak, but require a little help in doing so, the guys over at iPhone Download Blog have now posted a 7 step “How to jailbreak your iPhone 4.2.1 with Greenspois0n” tutorial to give you a helping hand, so check it out.

Having said all that, I checked out the Greenpois0n website earlier and it appears to be offline, not too sure why, perhaps the site has been inundated with users, but for now it appears you can’t grab the software from them, but if you do manage to grab it and give it a go feel free to let us know how you get on.
