Verizon iPhone Ships Earlier Than Expected

If you placed your order for the new CDMA iPhone on Verizon Wireless on the 9th of this month, you are probably expecting your Verizon iPhone to begin shipping by the 18th, however apparently some lucky people are having their Verizon iPhone shipped early.

According to an article over on Apple Insider, Apple has already begun shipping of the Verizon iPhone, one week earlier than expected and thus apparently people can expect their delivery by the 16th of the month.

Apple did apparently stock pile some two million of the devices to handle initial orders which ran out on the first day of becoming available for pre-order back on the 3rd of the month for existing customers. Perhaps this is why reports have it that there was a decided lack of customer lines when the Verizon iPhone hit retail stores.

Anyway, word is Apple is sending out shipping notifications to customers specifying a “delivers by” date of the 16th of Feb, so have any of our Verizon iPhone readers received this notification yet?
