Another new smartphone has just been launched for India in the form of the iBall Andi 5K Panther. This is a dual SIM Android octa-core phone, and we have specs details ahead as well as that all-important price. The phone will be available in Milky Silver or Wine color options.

Andi 5K Panther specs include a 1.4GHz octa-core processor (chipset so far unspecified), a 5-inch IPS display with resolution of 960 x 540 and 220 ppi, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage expandable via microSD to 32GB. It has an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, as well as a 2-megapixel front-facing snapper.

Connectivity is covered with 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB, GPRS/EDGE and GPS/A-GPS. The phone has a 1900 mAh battery and runs the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. The iBall Andi 5K Panther price is Rs. 10,499, and this is a dual SIM smartphone.

One of the natural competitors of this handset will be the recently released HTC Desire 616 dual SIM, which is also an octa-core device but comes at a higher price. We’d be really interested to hear what our readers in India think about this latest iBall Andi phone.
