A new Videocon smartphone has just been launched, the Videocon Z55 Dash. This device has been designed and assembled in India and will be on sale exclusively through online retailer Flipkart. Check out details on the price, specs and more, as it’s all coming right up.

We’ll kick off with Videocon Z55 Dash specs. It’s powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core processor, has a 5-inch display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded by microSD to 32GB. It’s a dual SIM handset with connectivity options that include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

Further specifications are an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper, and a 2200 mAh battery. It also has FM radio and a 3.5mm audio jack, and it runs the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. The Videocon Z55 Dash comes in Black with Gold or White with Silver color choices. The phone will be sold through Flipkart at a price of Rs. 6,490.
