OnePlus X specs and release date tipped through new leak

#

Last week a couple of renders appeared that claimed to show a device called the OnePlus X. New details have emerged about that device today, and we’re here to bring you the scoop on the potential OnePlus X specs.

OnePlus releasing a new handset is all but as given, and the company has even told us to expect something in the near future. If the OnePlus X renders are legit, it shows the company is changing up the design for the news handset and there looks to be a dual-camera setup on the back as well. What lies under the hood was a mystery at the time the renders were released, but new OnePlus X specs give us a good idea of what to expect from the new device.

Gizmochina’s sources have tipped their hand to the OnePlus X specs, and it looks like we will see a mid-ranger as expected. The device is said to sport a 5-inch display of an unknown resolution with a somewhat dated Snapdragon 801 under the hood. While no other specs were given, it’s safe to say it won’t have a QHD panel or 4GB of RAM so we expect something along the lines of a FHD display, 16/32GB of storage and 2GB of RAM.

As always, you’ll want to take these OnePlus X specs rumors with a dose of salt, but make it a small one. The device is rumored to be shown off as early as next month, so we should see an uptick in leaks or get some official teases from the company soon.

Would you be interested in a lower-priced OnePlus with mid-range specifications?
