Redmi Note 4 2GB RAM India sales from February 3
There’s good news and bad news if you’ve been waiting for the Redmi Note 4 variant with 2GB of RAM to arrive for sale in India. The good news is that Redmi Note 4 2GB RAM India sales will begin on February 3, that’s tomorrow! The bad news is that it’s likely to be difficult to get hold of owing to the massive popularity of the device.
The Redmi Note 4 first released in China and in mid-January was finally launched in India. It was announced in three variants. One has 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage for Rs. 9,999, another has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory for Rs. 10,999, and the superior version has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage for Rs. 12,999.
All well and good except that until now only the 3GB and 4GB RAM models have been offered for sale through Flipkart and Mi.com. That’s all about to change though as the 2GB RAM Redmi Note 4 will be up for grabs for the first time from 12pm on February 3 on Mi.com. Demand for the currently available variants of the phone has been extremely high with Xiaomi stating that the first sale on Flipkart and Mi.com saw more than 2,50,000 units sold.
The phone has a brushed metal body and availability so far has been for the Dark Gray and Gold colors. Those waiting for the Matte Black version will still have to wait a little longer as it won’t be on sale until the third week of February. It’s worth noting that the Redmi Note 4 India variant has a Snapdragon 625 processor instead of the Helio X20 chipset found in the version launched for China.
