Google HTC phone unveiled in London

If you were at the developer’s conference in London on Tuesday you may have seen Google showing off the new Google Mobile Phone, which has been codenamed “Dream”.

Google showed the device off as part of a presentation on Android, that is the new operating system for the mobile platform, we are not sure if the phone used in the presentation was actually a demonstration product or the actual Google phone that is to be released on T-Mobile late October.

It’s been said that HTC are the manufacturers behind the Google handset, but a full announcement is believed to be made in New York next week by T-Mobile and Google. The Dream phone is set to be sent out globally this year and shipment of around 600,000 to 700,000 is expected. The Google phone is set to compete against Apple’s iPhone just in time for the Christmas rush.
