There is a new version of Facebook available for BlackBerry smartphones that delivers tighter integration with BlackBerry

native functions, calendar, contacts and messages.

Facebook 1.5 also now has a Phonebook app that collects all your contacts available phone numbers in one place and when the Facebook Phonebook app is out it will make sure your address book keeps up to date.

Currently it isn’t possible to edit your Facebook profiles via your BlackBerry smartphone but once Facebook 1.5 hit the BlackBerry you should be able to edit mobile and landline numbers so your friends can know when you change your number.
