The Symbian powered Sony Ericsson Idou smartphone which was unveiled back at Mobile World Congress is now to come to the market under a new name, and thus will now be known as the Sony Ericsson “Satio,” confirms semcblog.

Spec wise, everything remains the same with the Sony Ericsson Satio so will have the 12.1 megapixel camera with xenon flash, dual-band HSPA, GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS/HSPA 900/2100 MHz, 3.5 inch touch screen, and microSD expansion.

The Sony Ericsson Satio

will be available in Bordeaux, Black and Silver and is expected sometime in October.
