Apple release iPhone OS 3.1 Beta 3 to developers

Apple has now made available to iPhone developers the beta 3 of iPhone OS 3.1; this move intimates that the latest version of the iPhone operating system is getting closer to a rumoured release in September.

Probably the big news with iPhone OS 3.1 is there may be support for video APIs, along with making augmented reality applications according to an article over on engadget mobile.

Knowing the Apple iTunes App Store it won’t be too long before the iPhone is flooded with new applications created with iPhone OS 3.1.
