At the Venture Capital Summit at Mountain View which was attended by 200 Venture Capitalists it as emerged that Microsoft CEO Steve Bullmer regrets not launching Microsoft Windows Mobile 7 sooner according to an article on wmpoweruser.

Venture capitalist, Plozefak stated that, Steve, like all of us, regret Windows Mobile 7 has not launched yet, and also commented that “Ballmer says they screwed up with Windows Mobile. Wishes they had already launched WM7. They completely revamped the team.”

Apparently Ballmer also said, “This will not happen again.” So, does this mean that Microsoft I snow going to get their finger out and not take so long to come up with Windows Mobile 8?
