Poll: Will there be a price war between Orange and Vodafone?

The iPhone will be selling in 13 countries after adding UK and Ireland courtesy of Vodafone. They have secured the right to begin selling the iPhone in the UK just one day after Orange broke the two year exclusive grip with 02.

Its been confirmed by Vodafone that the company wont actually get its hands on the phone until early next year. Trying to encourage customers now Vodafone have already opened on line pre registration

Orange took the advantage quickly on Monday of the two year break clause in 02’s contract with Apple to get the device for the UK market. The deal was apparently official and signed of yesterday evening. Adding UK and Ireland brings the total number of countries that Vodafone supplies the iPhone to 13. Source – guardian.co.uk
