T-Mobile say Yes to Google Nexus One Phone, will Verizon?

There is a lot of news coming in about the new Google Phone aka Nexus One and we know that it will be an unlocked smartphone, but the question lies with many of us “Will Verizon say no?” and block Verizon customers using it.

The Android platform has already been embraced by Motorola, Samsung, HTC etc and the new Nexus One will be running the all new Android 2.1 apparently, Verizon may possibly activate some of its phones consumers bring to its network but will they allow the likes of the Google phone which hopefully will be releasing Q1 2010.

Verizon still are without the Apple iPhone which is madness really but then that is Apple’s actions to decline them the phone, so for Verizon to say no to the Nexus One would be even more crazy.

Do you think the Google Nexus One smartphone should be allowed on the Verizon network or do you think they should say no and stick with what they already have? Please use our poll system below and get the votes in.

Will someone please explain to these people:
    # Mad if they do not (57.0%, 25 Votes)
    # Consumers should have a right of what network they use (16.0%, 7 Votes)
    # Yes they will (14.0%, 6 Votes)

That the phone doesn’t have the right hardware for Verizon’s 3G network.

You mean Verizon originally turned down the iphone right? Apple didn’t refuse Verizon as you are saying. Verizon is a crap company and the world would be better off without them.

Since the Nexus One can not run on a Verizon network, I don’t understand the survey. T-Mobile (GSM) and Verizon (CDMA) networks are different types and are not compatible.
